A fond farewell to England! We're just about to head off from anything that can be identified as home, hitting the road, jetting off, getting lost (figuratively) etc. We've spent the last couple of days at Mark's parents' house on last-minute preparations: completing first-aid kits, getting injected, figuring out where to carry what and generally getting excited. Katie (Mark's sister) has been packaged off to Austria where she'll be working this summer, and Colin Leonie (his parents) are off in a matter of hours to Germany on their holiday. Now we also say au revoir to this lap of luxury for 2 months. Our train awaits...
