The adventure has begun! It's still a week before we actually leave the UK, but we've now left Edinburgh, not to return for two and a half months.

Our departure from Edinburgh yesterday all went smoothly. We got the train at 9am and were in Cambridge in time for lunch with Hanna's mum. We now have the rest of today here, seeing family and friends, leaving late this evening for London.

So far last-minute preparations are all going well and, to our great dismay, over 24 hours after leaving Edinburgh we still haven't thought of anything we've forgotten!
